Products description
The Tepi pipe is a traditional shamanic tool used to administer Rapé (also known as Hapé or Rapeh), a sacred snuff made from a blend of medicinal plants, herbs, bark, and ashes. This practice has deeply rooted traditions in South American shamanic cultures.
Application: During shamanic ceremonies, a shaman uses the Tepi pipe to blow the Rapé into the nostrils of another person. The Tepi pipe is designed to allow the shaman to maintain a respectful distance while administering the snuff. The smoke from the Rapé is regarded as a carrier of prayers and intentions, ascending to the spirits or the Creator.Materials: Tepi pipes can be made from various materials, such as bone, wood, or bamboo. Each material has its own unique properties and significance. Bamboo is commonly used because it is lightweight and easy to handle.
Symbolism: Using the Tepi pipe in ceremonies is not only a physical act but also holds spiritual significance. The pipe represents a connection between the physical and spiritual worlds, helping to release negative energy and focus intentions.
